Then another two days. On the second day, me and the boys started out with a walk to help with WHW training. We were all wiped out in the afternoon but once they’d gone to bed I hopped on the bike and cycled for half an hour. Sunday though was a wipeout! Then I’ve been on it every day.
The image above is a screenshot from the Conqueror App mapping my progress. It was always expected that I’d be behind, but I should be at 77 miles rather than 63. I’m not panicking yet, it’s early days.
On the plus side I do feel like I have more energy and the cycling doesn’t feel like a chore. I’m also recovering quicker and hungrier which is a good sign as it’s my body telling me to consume more calories to gain energy.
